There is rejoicing and happiness at the gates of Heaven as
Willie & Louise Ray Bishop welcome their youngest son, Willie “Will”
Howard Bishop, Jr., 53. He went to be with the Lord Monday, January 18,
2016. Will was born July 22, 1962 in Jacksonville, FL, where he lived all
of his life. Will was a graduate of Victory Christian Academy class of
1980, worked in the health care industry at Oceanway Medical Center and
Smith-Kline as a phlebotomist. He had an infectious smile, loved all of
his children very much and will be missed by everyone. Will was
predeceased by his brother, Raymond Bishop and nephew, Steven Addison. He
left behind his sons, Raymond, Joshua and Michael Bishop; daughters,
Amanda Bishop and Heather Ramsey; brother and sister, Stanley Bishop
(Shirley) and Barbara Cochran (Ray); grandchildren, Graclynn and Everleigh
Bishop, Keagin Ellis and Janelle Ramsey; mothers of his children, Rhonda
Bishop-Folsom (Mitch) and Deborah Brock; a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. A celebration of his life is being held Wednesday,
January 20 at 11am at Gardenview Baptist Church, 3139 Armsdale Rd 32218,
where Will was a member. His friend, Pastor Jim Curtis, is officiating.
The family is receiving friends Wednesday beginning at 10am at the church.
Interment by cremation.
