Mark Edward Hill, 55, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
He was born January 22, 1961 in North Vernon, IN and had lived in
Jacksonville for the past 53 years. Mark loved hunting, cooking and was an
accomplished backyard amusement park designer. He was a graduate of N.E.
FL Builders Assoc. apprenticeship program, a master electrician and
founder and president of Hills All Service, Inc. Mark was also the head
chef at Long Branch Refuge Hunt Club. He was predeceased by his son, Jason
E. Hill; father, Donald E. Hill and father in law, David A. DeBerry.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kathy; daughter, Nicole Shepherd;
mother, Randie McDuffie; brothers, David, Gary and Tony Hill; sister,
Tonya Hill; grandchildren, Natalie and Diesel Shepherd; best friend, Bo;
numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday,
March 19 at 11am at Dunns Creek Baptist Church, 1425 Starratt Road, 32218,
with Pastor Dave Malmberg officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen
cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8pm at
Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, 32218, 714-1110. In lieu of
