Myrtle Mae Jeffers, 84

Myrtle Mae Jeffers, 84, passed away Saturday, May 28,
2016 at her home in Nahunta GA, where she had lived since 2005 coming from
Jacksonville. She was born August 11, 1931 in Houston, TX to the late
Addison & Beatrice Lanier. Myrtle was a member of Church of God of
Prophesy on Gillespie Ave and loved crocheting. She was predeceased by her
husband of 66 years, William Jeffers; daughter, Belinda “Sally” Jeffers;
brother, Arthur Lanier; sister, Wilma Brown. Survivors include her sons,
Lester Jeffers (Donna), Leroy Jeffers (Libby), Wesley Jeffers (Lora),
Donnie Jeffers (Crystal), Richard Jeffers; daughter, Genevieve Moore
(Joe); son in law, Phillip Fain; brothers, Sonny Liner; sister, Ethel
Jackson (Max); 16 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 great-great
grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services
will be held Friday, June 3 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral
Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218, with Rev. Eric Taylor officiating.
Interment will follow in Peoria cemetery in Doctors Inlet, FL. The family
will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8pm at the funeral home,
