Irma Jean Souls, 63, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. She was born December 4, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to the late James & Mildred Greene. Irma had lived in Jacksonville all of her life, was of the Baptist faith and attended Andrew Jackson High School. She retired as a Cafeteria Manager from the Duval County School Board, loved her family very much and will be dearly missed by all. Her family says, we love you as big as the sky to the moon and back. Irma was predeceased by her brothers, Eddie Greene and Noah Greene. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Edward Souls, Sr.; son, Edward Souls (Vicky); daughters, Sabrina Sandel (Mark), Terri Owen (Jeff); brothers, James Greene (Marcia), Marcus Greene (Sharon); sisters, JoAnn Lick, Judy Vonderau (Larry), Linda Day (Jack), Paulette Mayberry (Lee), Bernice Kelley (Steve); 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26 at 12:30pm at First Baptist Church of Oceanway, 212 Sago Ave Jax, FL 32218 with Dr. Tom Drury officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:30am on Thursday at the church.
