Lynwood Lee Anderson, 81, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017. He was born October 16, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL, where he lived all of his life, to the late Clarence & Mary Anderson. Lynwood was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a pioneer in the commercial shrimping industry in the North FL area. He loved hunting, fishing, sports, traveling to Colombia to bird hunt and will be dearly missed. Lynwood was predeceased by his sister, Marcia Johnson. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Alina; son, Lynwood Anderson, Jr (Amanda); daughters, Marilyn Solorzano (Maynor), Amelia Anderson, Melinda Anderson; sisters, Edna Taylor, Marquetta Sharp; grandchildren, Lee Vogelsong (Kim), Jason Vogelsong (Jan), Jarah Dixon, Damien Solorzano (Kaeleigh), Julia Dixon, Jacie Harrison, Brennan Anderson, Shiloh Anderson; 17 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd 32218, with Tommy Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Anderson cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 10am at the funeral home, 714-1110. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
