Obituary

Morin - Dan Patrick Morin, age 78, passed away on February 3, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born June 8, 1947, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the beloved son of Pat and Marge Morin. Dan graduated from Terry Parker High School and proudly served in the National Guard. He was a devoted Jacksonville Jaguar fan and had a passion for collecting sports cards. Dan’s other hobbies included playing cards with the lamp lighters, watching football, canning food, and gardening. He completed the Master Gardener Program through the University of North Florida. Dan will always be remembered as a loyal hardworking man who was deeply grounded in his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Marge; and baby sister, Jeannie.

Dan is survived by the love of his life, Joy Morin; sons, Chris and PJ; sisters, Michelle Davis and Anne Zamm; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dan’s legacy of love, dedication and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held on February 12, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, Florida, with Pastor Perry Fruscella officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
