Michael Wayne Jones

Jones – Michael Wayne Jones, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2026. He was born on October 5, 1973, and is the son of the late J.P. Jones. Mike is also preceded in death by his grandparents, John Jones, Elizabeth Ferrell and William Ferrell.

Mike leaves behind his daughter, Laci Jones; granddaughter, Alora Jones; mother, Cassie Lewis; brothers, Neal Jones and Lewis Jones; sister, Christy Whitaker; special mom, Claudia Allgood; aunt, Tamy Jo (Scottie) Mann; nephew, Jay Jones; great-niece, Oaklynn Jones; cousins, Whitney and Lily; and special friend, Patricia Fisher. We all loved him dearly.

A Memorial Service for Mike will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, with Jeannie Hildreth speaking. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, to honor Mike’s love and devotion to his daughter, donations may be made to Laci.
